biography

Amberlee lives by the expression ‘you can be more than one thing’.

With a career spanning mental health and learning & development, equity has always been at the core, seen in the projects she has completed, the research she has conducted and the workshops she has delivered over the years.

She currently teaches both MSc health sciences & psychology at Regents and BA illustration at UAL, whilst also teaching on a learning & development postgrad certificate, supporting educators to engage in inclusive, equity-driven practices.

She founded illustration studio line & honey, connecting creative practice with wellbeing, exploring conversations around representation and visibility. She specialises in non-fiction book illustrations and projects that highlight black women in spaces of ease.

Her work and research has taken her across sectors, where she has designed and led transformative learning programmes that prioritise wellbeing, psychological safety, and meaningful engagement.

She is currently writing a book on duality.
